A blend of energizing and calming postures to balance out the energy in the body as well as build strength and flexibility. Postures are sequenced in a way that gives emphasis to only one posture at a time and postures are held for multiple cycles of breath.
The focus in this class is being rather than doing, with long-held, restful postures. Props are used to support limbs, joints and the entire body to allow release of tension. Revitalize and receive all the physical, mental and psychological benefits.

In this class, each posture is linked with an affirmation to send positive thoughts into the subconscious mind, thus enhancing the quality and experience of each posture. Emphasis is placed on allowing the words to resound from a deep level of feeling.
A soft, nurturing, slow-pace practice that expands awareness, moves, opens and purifies the body. Class is by candlelight and ends with an extended relaxation. A perfect way to end the busy day.

Taking classes with Mina has not only increased my passion to actively engage in and continue learning about yoga, but has also shaped me into a more mindful practitioner. Having a busy schedule, as most people do, I can confidently say that making time for this class merely once a week has benefited my physical and mental health tremendously! By generally assigning each session a new theme to focus on, there was never a dull moment attending these classes. Her user-friendly style of teaching caters to a wide range of individuals, making it so that this is a perfect series for beginners and professionals of any age or background alike. I loved how she would consistently offer different variations to the many poses throughout the practice, allowing me to choose between the easier or more difficult ones depending on my range of flexibility. I originally came to Mina’s class because I wanted to know more about yoga. She is a patient and understanding teacher. She helped me to feel more stable in the poses by carefully offering some simple adjustments, with props and cues, and this in turn, allowed me to relax more and breath more deeply.
