Yoga is a journey of self exploration and transformation.
My passion and commitment for healthy, conscious living have led me to embark on a journey to teach yoga, and share my learnings on health and wellness. After many years of working in health-related fields, I find myself drawn to serve for a higher good, and to help others improve the overall quality of their lives.
I discovered that yoga is so much more than the physical
asanas. The ancient and deep-rooted teachings of
yoga translate off the mat into our daily lives.
My classes are slower paced, with an introspective approach. They include pranayama, longer hold time in each asana,
slower transitions from posture to posture,
and have a meditative quality.
My intention is to offer adaptable and accessible yoga to
students from all walks of life. Yoga is for everyone. Real bodies
in the real world - real shapes, sizes and abilities. My home
studio is a loving, safe, peaceful space where students can feel comfortable and allow for self-expansion to take place. I
welcome those who value smaller and more low-key classes.
I have my E-RYT 200, RYT 500 and YACEP certification and completed my training at The Ananda Institute of Living Yoga under the teachings of Murali Venkatrao and Michelle
David and also completed Restorative Teacher Training at The Expanding Light Retreat under the teachings of Melody Hansen.
Therapeutic grade essential oils and healthy dietary choices
are also an inherent part of my life. I incorporate these into
certain classes as appropriate. I am excited to share my
insights, learnings, and experiences to help others live their
best lives and become their own healers.
